The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Chapter 919 919: Make Him Jealous!

Chapter 919 919: Make Him Jealous!

Christian hastily stood up with balled hands. He looked like someone who was ready to punch someone. Between Ella and Christian, he was the one who knew about Cassie's feelings toward Flint.

"Bro, where are you going? Stay back." Cassie anchored her hands around his arm, pulling him back to the bench. Cassie was physically stronger than him so Christian had no choice but to sit back.

When Christian turned to Ella, he saw her dark expression as well. She was as mad as him when they heard Cassie's story.

"How dare he play with my niece's feelings?! Who is that guy? I'm going to slap him left and right!" Ella cracked her knuckles as if she was ready to throw a punch.

'He is your childhood friend, Aunt!' Christian thought to himself, Flint's face flashing in his mind. To satiate his anger, Christian just imagined that he was beating Flint over and over again.

Cassie just pouted her lips. She didn't want to disclose Flint's name. Besides, her Aunt Ella and Flint were very close friends. She didn't want them to fight just because of her.

"Don't ask his name, Aunt. I will just forget about him and move on," She said meekly, uncertain if she could do it or not.

Christian sneered at his twin sister, doubtful of her words. But he just tapped her shoulders, comforting her.

After a while, Ella's eyes lit up as she got an idea. "Cassie, I have a bright idea."

Cassie and Christian looked at her, puzzled. "What is it, Aunt?"

"I don't believe that he doesn't have feelings for you. Why did he kiss you back?! I guess he is still in denial or he is just a fool. Hmmph!" Ella stomped her feet and crossed her arms.

"What are you suggesting, Aunt?" Christian asked, lifting his eyebrow.

"Simple. Let's test him! Cassie has to check how he will react once she gets closer to other men. Make him jealous!" Ella suggested, smiling playfully. She was confident that no man could ignore Cassie's beauty. She believed that her niece could charm any man she wanted!

"No, I object! Just let her forget that man. Don't give her false hope, Aunt!" Christian stood up as he delivered his speech. He opposed that idea because he knew that Flint had feelings for Ella that's why he was ignoring Cassie's feelings.

"There is no harm trying it for one last time, Christian. He wouldn't kiss her so many times if he didn't like her!" Ella insisted.

"No, Aunt. He was just a jerk that's why he kissed her back! He was taking advantage of my sister's feelings. I will never forgive him for that! He made her cry!" Christian was very protective of Cassie.

Ella and Cassie appreciated it and they understood where Christian was coming from. But Cassie wanted to agree to Ella's suggestion. She would like to try it for one last time.

"Bro, just this once. Allow me to do this… for one last time. If it doesn't work then I know what to do. I will stop pursuing him, forget about him, and move on." Cassie pleaded, putting her arms together while giving him a puppy-eye look.

"Please agree. It's for her own sake…" Ella added, supporting Cassie.

Christian could only rub the space between his eyebrows and heaved a sigh of defeat. How could he refuse her if his sister was acting like that? Fine! Just this one. He would allow her.

"This is your last chance, Cassie. You know when to stop, Okay?"

Cassie bobbed her head frantically, then she pounced on her brother, hugging him tightly. "Yes, Bro. One last try. I promise."

Christian took another deep sigh. "But don't get your hopes up!" He warned her. He just didn't want to see her cry again. Furthermore, he was afraid that Cassie would be affected greatly once she found out that Ella was the woman whom Flint truly loved.

'I swear, I will beat that guy if he becomes the source of conflict between Aunt Ella and my twin sister, Cassie,' Christian murmured to himself, clenching his fists.

"Aunt, Bro! I have to leave now!" Cassie hastily stood up as she recalled the time. It was already late. The training team would conduct another inspection of their sleeping quarters.

Christian also knew that so he didn't stop her. Cassie had to go back to the Training Camp or else, she would be subject to punishment once again.

"Till we see each other again, next time…" Ella said before Cassie disappeared from their sight. She just teleported back to Training Camp.

Back to the Fiery Eagles' Training Camp, Flint didn't do his routine check. He just allowed Justine to do it on his behalf. He was usually assigned to do the monitoring in Cassie's Team Sleeping Quarters.

He couldn't face her after what happened between them. It would feel so awkward. He was also embarrassed because he kissed her despite the fact he loved someone else.

He didn't know why he couldn't control his body around her. It was moving on its own accord.

Flint kept pacing on his bed, tossing and turning around as he couldn't forget about Cassie. He knew that he did the right thing by telling the truth and rejecting her. But for some unknown reason, he couldn't feel at ease.

Was it because he felt sorry for her? Was it because he saw her cry? He was confused!

Since he couldn't sleep, Flint had decided to get up and walk around. He just wanted to clear his mind and he was hoping that the fresh air in the forest nearby could help him.

As he passed by the Red Team's sleeping quarters, he had the urge to take a look at Cassie. He wondered if she was fine now. But he held himself back. Seeing her tonight was not a good idea. Cassie might misinterpret his actions again.

Turning around, Flint walked away, going toward the forest. 'I don't know how I will face her tomorrow. Sigh.'
