The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Chapter 920 920: Ask For Her Help!

Chapter 920 920: Ask For Her Help!

The next morning, the training exercises of the three groups continued. Justine aka Ten and Eleven were the drill master for today's activity.

This time, the group gathered in the shooting ground. Their challenge today was about firing. They would see who are the sharpshooters among the teams.

Flint had decided to watch on the sideline. He came there just to find out how Cassie is doing. He was glad to see her very focused on the task. It seemed like last night's encounter between them never happened.

Cassie was very lively today. She was laughing together with her teammates. They sorted out the conflict within the team. Cassie punished the traitor by making him serve every member of their team. They had forgiven him.

Though Cassie was doing fine with the target shooting, the Red team ranked last because it was a combined point of the team members. Her team members didn't perform well.

However, Cassie tried her best to cheer them up. Among the trainees there, only Cassie got a perfect score. With this, the Red Team felt proud as their team leader ranked #1 for individual category.

Flint was amazed by her skills and shooting accuracy. He was now convinced that Cassie was not just a pretty face. He was so wrong to judge her before. She could be a great member of the Fiery Eagles.

When the target shooting was done, all team members were given time to practice. As tomorrow, they will have a team competition. This would be a simulation and practical test. They would use firearms to do their mission (with fake bullets). No one would be harmed by this challenge.

Cassie helped and taught her team members about how to shoot properly– proper posture, proper breathing, and others.

"Take a deep breath," Cassie mumbled, looking at the target. Her team members also took a deep breath as they continued to listen to her.

"Put your arms holding the gun in line with your sight as you breathe out. Once your arms are in line, stop breathing and align your front sight with your rear sight. Focus! And Shoot!"

Bang!

Cassie hit the bullseye and her members could only clap their hands in admiration. She was so good at this.

Flint, Justine, and Eleven who were watching at the back were also amazed by her ability. It did not take long before the guys fell in line just to ask for tips and opinions from Cassie about their shooting.

Flint's eyebrows were drawn together when Cassie began guiding the guys by positioning herself at their back and holding their arms as if she was almost hugging them from behind.

The guys seemed like they were enjoying the attention they were getting from Cassie.

'Damn! She is getting too close to them!'  Flint lamented inwardly. His expression darkened as he crumpled his face. He had the urge to pull her away from them.

"Hey, why are you frowning?" Justine asked Flint as soon as he noticed his sour face as he looked at the Red Team.

"Did Applicant 0018 do something wrong again to annoy you?" Justine said, teasing Flint.

Eleven also chuckled, shaking his head as he listened to them.

"No. It's nothing! I just find it so cringy seeing how these men relied on their team leader alone. Can't they do something on their own?" Flint complained.

Flint's last remarks brought another laughter to Justine and Eleven.

"Are you jealous of them?" Justine teased Flint.

"Of course not! Maybe it's you! Not me!" Flint quickly denied Justine's accusation and pointed his finger back at him.

"Eh? Me? Why would I get jealous? I don't have the right." Justine stated matter-of-factly.

"And so do I…" Flint responded before turning around. He walked out.

"What's wrong with Ninth today? He seems a bit off. And he is acting strangely lately." Eleven asked Justine as they watched Flint walking away from them.

Justine just shrugged his shoulders. He had no idea either.

"Hmm, don't mind him. Let's just focus on our target. We are running out of time. I think we should try talking to her. Let's inform her about our concern and ask for her help." Justine suggested.

"Sigh. What if she refuses to help us?" Eleven was doubtful about this plan.

"Then we can resort to another way. We will take her by force. We can blackmail her. I think Flint is very important to her. You told me about this, right?"

Eleven bobbed his head. "Fine. Let's try this. We will talk to her later after their practice."

"That's great."

The two finally agreed on each other's decision. They just waited for Cassie and her team to finish their target shooting practice.

When they were done, Eleven and Justine approached Cassie.

"Miss Cassie, can we talk to you for a minute?" Justine politely asked her.

Cassie was puzzled for a moment. She shifted her gaze from Eleven to Justine, back and forth.

"Eh, sure…" she replied, smiling faintly.

"Can we talk in the forest?" Justine made another request. What they were about to tell her was very confidential. They couldn't let other people know this.

Seeing the pleading look in Justine's eyes, Cassie just bobbed her head. Besides, she could protect herself if these two men would try to do something inappropriate to her.

Meanwhile, Justine's eyes gleamed with hope when Cassie decided to come with them to the forest. The three of them left the shooting range and walked in the direction of the nearby forests.

From a distance, Flint saw Cassie together with Justine and Eleven. His forehead creased, wondering what business they had for Cassie.

"Where are they bringing her?" Flint mumbled. He just found himself secretly following them. He felt something off about this.

'Are Ten and Eleven trying to plot something?' Flint increased his pace. He didn't want Cassie to be alone with those two. Who knows if they are planning to do bad things against her?

He wanted to find out what the two men were trying to do here. "I'm going to beat them if they try to take advantage of her," Flint mumbled, clenching his fists.
