This is surprisingly pretty good at least I enjoyed it quite a lot compared to any other fanfics, this is not necessarily a good read for everyone but for certain people it is a good read.The one that carried the novel is the MC, he is like not your typical OP bland super handsome perfect guy in almost any fanfics out there, he is really flawed and i genuinely like him as a character, and don't bother with the harem, the harem is ridiculous like the number is really really ridiculous I advise you to NOT read the character sheet, I REPEAT DO NOT READ the character sheet it only will discourage you to read just go straight to the chapter 1.The first 30 chapters are quite tedious to read since it contains mostly monologues but I assure you it will get better afterward, 99% of the harem are just there for the sake of being there but the 1% is actually GOLD.So yup, I recommend it 4.3/5 good read

The mc of this novel is probably one of the worst I have seen. He has 0 personality, he is like that kind of a guy who goes with the flow, he doesn't make any decisions, just follows. This mc supposedly reincarnated from earth to the body of a child. Guess what he does. He wants to be a batler to a young unruly girl. Now to make this kind of an option you have to be a pedo. I do not see any other way. His plot armour in incredible, somehow he gets strong even with this lousy personality... The novel is not up to standard in my opinion. Depending on the site some MTL aint that bad, they set up a table of names so that the TL will always use the same one which helps a lot. I remember reading Legendary Mechanic and Reverend Insanity when it was releasing on MTL, that wasn't bad at all actually.

Some people compare this to “I Highjacked the Timeline (IHTT)”, and while I’ll say that the premise is similar as both novels have the mc going into the far future where their countries were destroyed by beasts, there are many differences. Here I will explain a few of the differences -> Spoiler For example I just feel like the people in this novel are too annoying, there are generic arrogant characters everywhere. Like literally every character underestimates the mc and they easily feel jealously, hatred, and other bad emotions, in comparison to IHTT, where every genius is celebrated and you can feel the pride in every characters souls where they would put their life’s on the line against the monsters. Even the random characters are like that (it seems). But here the characters are still killing each other, like there’s no urgency coming from anyone other than the military people. This is just an example, and also the mc doesn’t seem to pass any of his techniques he finds from the future to the public (at least as of now, but he doesn’t seem like he will), but I don’t blame him since there’s no unity in the country. I just feel like if he did that like in IHTT, he might have been able to increase the level of humanity’s strength, which would in turn increase the strength of the future techniques. But maybe he can’t do so, as the setting is different compared to IHTT as everyone is able to submit techniques they make to an institute where they would reward anyone who makes good techniques. Maybe here there’s no platform for him to submit his techniques, idk. It seems he wants to become a powerhouse of his own and save humanity, while compared to IHTT, the mc wants all of humanity to get stronger and he also cultivates many geniuses and seems to be making an organization. Id also say this novel is also much more lighthearted as ‘IHTT’ seems to have a lot more despair and mystery. Plus IHTT has more chapters, but also some more nonsense. Lastly, the mc here is much more calm and mature then the IHTT mc but he seems much more bland as well. Not very memorable Anyway, both novels are good imo but if I didn’t read IHTT first I wouldn’t have found so many ‘problems’ with this novel. I’d recommend reading either one.

So the conflict happens anyway! Second volume also focused on the new hussle mc gains after he leaves lich. She is a kind-hearted girl who warns mc that the trash of the adventurer only wants to humiliate MC thinknig he is a hilly-billy but what does mc do? This is pretty good work but it's hard for me to read through the end because it had too much details which made me tried very fast.
This novel starts off with a big info dump but if you read through it, you will find the first chapters to be really interesting with a well thought out system so far and a relatable Mc. I really advise to give it a read up to chapter 10 at least.
the synopsis is accurate for what it says.the story starts like a standard isekai but there is no op/naive/murderhobo mc here, that should be clear enough with her having to survive weeks in the wilderness and almost dying from disease and other problems, all of that before even meeting civilization.Afterwards her situation improves significantly compared to the hardcore start, she will be to pursue her interest in reserch and magic, especially how and why the system works and if there is a chance of going back, or stopping the growing amount of broken mana.Fights are still present throught the story but they are of reasonable odds and not the focus of the story.The progress of the story is at a normal speed, chapters are decently long with weekly release

Having read the MTL, I find this novel to be quite captivating despite its not so uncommon premise. While the beginning may seem cliché with the main character transmigrating into a weak/ill prince and face slapping others, it is executed well. The novel primarily revolves around a power fantasy, accompanied by intriguing political dynamics and an air of mystery to keep the readers engaged. Plus there's no romance, so my boy can focus on becoming the most op being to ever exist without any pussy distracting him. Have fun reading it

I am surprised, how this novel is not more famous? It's one of the great novel I have read as of chapter 180. This story focus on our MC who is on journey to become Great wizard, the world is multidimensional world with countless gods and races. Wizards are seekers of truth and one of, if not strongest power all across Multiverse, this guys only see so called Great God's and Abyss lord as nothing more than material for experiment. They are also very cruel as they only care about people around them and all others are material to be experiment. The world is very dark and realistic with lots of death and every other guy wanting a piece of you. Only problem is last update was 9 months ago, so it's probably dropped.

As noted by some of the other commenters, this novel draws heavy inspiration from Warlock of the Magus World if you liked that book you MUST give this one a try.THINGS I LIKED:-Hardworking and rational MC-Responsible usage of system elements (experienced readers will know how rare this is)-Mob villains are treated like mobs (no drama where the young get killed and the old come out)-MC stays cautious and lowkey until an opportunity comes along and hes like "Fu#k it, we ball" (if you read the novel you will understand this unique charm)That being said, the author seems to be somewhat free styling the story as the inspiration comes to him which is a bit worrying in terms of the story's stability. We get a lot of almost slice of life sections of the MC going about his Mage apprentice duties. The author does a great job with the worldbuilding (cough copied from WOTMW cough) but is having a hard time writing a plot that is unique to this story.In summary, this is a GREAT Warlock of the Magus World fanfiction being passed off as an original. A great novel, good and very enjoyable, a must read. Summary :- So let's start this Review with little talk about the world. World :- 20 Years ago people start getting Uniqe skills and getting throw in another world with a system. System currency in Karma, it doesn't matter if it's bad karma or good one. Karma in based of what changes or events you go through in another world and what was your role was in those changes. By collecting 1 Million Karma you can come back in world. At the same time you can use Karma to power up yourself. System give you 4 perks, 1 allowing you to upgrade unique skill, allow you to upgrade your stats(hp region, normal attack, defense etc), like a game repeating same thing will give you skills( all people who goes become genius cause of it) and last, stop your age as long as you stay in the world. Max time to stay in a world is 20 years, if you didn't have enough Karma by then to return you will lose your Uniqe skill, all buff from system and will age 20 years in one day as age stop will be removed and become stuck in world forever. Once you return to earth you will also lose system but still have all buff. Time difference in earth and other world is 1:10, 1 year in earth, 10 years in another world. MC :- MC is 20 years old guy who lost his parents 2 years ago and become shut-in. He got Uniqe skill avatar that allow him to create a copy of him. When he was about to send to another world he know he will die, as even with all system buff only 20% people return back to earth. He tried use his Avatar skill trying to trick system into believing his Avatar is real him so he can be safe. It's pretty good. The few take aways I have is the lack of chapters, which doesn't mean much and the timeskips. Mainly because while MC does grow we don't see much of that growth. However it does only have 27 chapters so it's pretty negligible.I'd say it's a solid 3 stars. So it isn’t bad but it basically boiled down to an asian supremacy susuckfest. Okey, that may be a bit overly exaggerated but still. The premise is that the MC has a system that allows him to spend points to watch tutorials made by “gods”. He gains these points by completing very hard tasks, doing achievements, performing feats, etc... He can then spend them to learn abilities, godly powers, “medical” skills, etc... The gods want more people to do this because whoever gets the most will become the one True God. The MC also writes reviews for the “Gods” that he watched videos for and somehow they are so extremely good that every person who reads them will automatically subscribe to that god. This leads to the gods trying everything they can to make him endorse them the most. The asian supremacy suckfest comes in when for some reason very obscure Asian historical figures or local legends have a abilities that are more overpowered than those of literal gods. MC wants to travel around really fast and instead of choosing a god of travel and realm traversing he chooses a robin hood-esque figure that tricked officials into believing he was in multiple places using by using body doubles. Apparently this was based off of a movie, kinda like that one robinhood movie with the exact same premise made ten years earlier or the book made a century or two before the korean version was supposedly to have existed. The Mc also chooses a Korean court physician’s acupuncture skill (because of course) to fix a real medical condition because acupuncture is a real and true medical treatment that isn’t likely to cause nerve damage even when performed by “trained” or “skilled” professionals. And I’ve went on a tangent.Translation wise it has the same grammatical problems as most Korean translations, and the using of Korean and other Asian mythos/historical figures can be written of because you write for your audience not logical consistency. Overall I’d give it a 4-5/10. Not recommended.
I think I understand why he chose that Robin Hood-esque figure. That sounds like it gives an ability like teleportation or body-swap with body doubles. I don't know a specific god with either of those abilities (they probably exist, but still).The court physician can be more easily explained. I know of gods of healing but not of medicine. If you see a list of names, you probably choose the one you recognize as what you are looking for (in this case, famous physician = medical skill which is renowned and you know some deeds about). And if we assume that the strength of a god's power is based on how many believe in it or its deeds. Then, that court physician may have become a deity or saint because of all people believing in his deeds, etc., which have then strengthened his medical skill.It seems to be based on some kind of renown(faith). Note: I hadn't read a single chapter when I wrote this comment.

Read all available chapters (53). It's pretty good overall, but the stuff around the Gods is a bit...off I guess. Also the "system" isn't a big focus either and isn't explained a whole lot.Basically he wakes up in the body of a sickly Eldest brother of a mid-tier noble family. The world is a game he used to play a ton of, and which he completed multiple runs of. He is the only "player" in this world/version of the game. The Gods part is described as "MeTube", but in reality its better to think of it as Patreon. Users have to use a "Like" to subscribe to a God. Then they have access to their videos - generally the first 2 are free, then he has to pay Likes to unlock more. Watching a video grants him a skill. The main reason all the Gods want him to subscribe to them is because he leaves extremely well written reviews, which help the Gods achieve more subscribers.The MeTube stuff is not the main focus at all. It is used quite a bit at the start since he is extremely sickly - barely able to walk, constantly coughing blood etc. But after he stabilises a bit, it mainly focuses on the game and completing Quests, achievements etc.Speaking of the system, nothing is really explained well, which leads to some things which don't really make sense, specifically around Levelling. He defeats multiple extremely high level opponents/monsters, like in their 20s, and 1 opponent in the 80s, yet the first time we see his system stats after that he is only Level 5. No explanation around how EXP or stats work or how he gets/applies them.The issue with the Gods thing is that the choice of Gods and how they interact just feels really odd. His first choice is an Eastern God who focuses on Acupunture and Decoctions, which he needs to survive. He has very few subscribers, yet somehow later on is shown having a conversation with Ares, God of War.His second subscription is to Hercules, which is fair enough I guess. He gets a breathing method skill and a skill to see monsters weakspots/levels.But the third one feels kinda off. He looks for a teleport/portal ability and finds an Eastern God with only 1 review that grants the ability to fast travel to places you've visited before, which is amazing. But he looks into, and skips over, some really strong Gods, like Hermes, who apparently just gives you winged shoes skill for subscribing, and who has pretty bad reviews for.It feels weird to me that this random God has an amazing fast travel skill, yet doesn't have tons of subscribers/reviews. It's a fast travel that, from what it looks like, only requires you to have visited the place once before.

Really good novel with a proper lawful good good-oriented MC, around the age of 15... Don't expect too much OPness, at least in the beginning, and also no Xianxia cultivation-like character who only cares about 'benefits'. The book is a modern novel, with modern mindset characters and a proper story. The majority of ranobes audience won't like this, saying how MC is weak, or how there is no big-brain giga Chad planning and scheming. This novel is NOT of that genre. Think more along the lines of a slice-of-life action novel. Superhero dynamics has been overhyped by the intro and doesn't play much role, YET... Will have more focus in the future but more largescale things are happening than Earth's superhero dynamic. Give it a try, its along the lines of Mother of Learning and The Wandering Inn. One of my fav books rn.PS- free to read on Royal Road, books pirated here may have formatting issue as well as typos which were later fixed by author.
This to say this not a trash, "read cause I'm bored and need filler novel". This is potentially a future great. While you might want to let it cook for a while longer (despite it being ~1000 pages already) .when you do get around to it I think you will greatly enjoy it. To be prepared though its a slowburner so don't expect anything approaching instant gratification or constant "numbers going up" styled goings on. Instead you can expect a coherently crafted world, and challenges to the characters that leave behind realistic scars and consequences. Not to say the story is grimdark or emo, but much like say, The Wandering Inn, those tragedies, and sadness are as much a part of the human condition as the happy, or diligently training ones, and thus also present in the novel as appropriate to telling a compelling Story.

Big meh novel. Only read to 24 and while it has potential, it’s been fairly boring so far. MC has little power, and little ability to gain power. Could see the author trying to leverage his niche abilities into OPness but it’s a stretch. Plus, state of MC and worldbuilding goes against general Ranobe enjoyment.SpoilerModern-day superhero story, except that in universe earth essentially signed over the planet to be slaves to an alien empire. Earth is called a “resource planet”, the system essentially provides access to abilities that aliens grant, and you gain super powers by signing yourself over as what could be generously described as “indentured servants”. The powers granted are only so the individual is of more use to the aliens. MC get the job of “Rabbit” which is named after the aliens cute, helpful pets. It’s a class that provides essentially servant staff abilities. The power to fold napkins better, set cutlery, etc. In exchange for those powers, MC is on call 24/7 to be summoned by his alien master who will use him to complete whatever job they want and send him off with some “currency” (not valuable to them only to humans). MC has no agency in his servitude, and the aliens barely treat them like people.
Spoiler So what’s the point of getting powers are they fighting the aliens or doing anything if he wants to be a sidekick it means there hero’s and hero’s imply villains so what’s the deal?
Spoilerhumans are so worthless to the aliens they don’t care what they do on Earth, only that they act properly when summoned (which is without warning at any time). So a bunch of “supers” who want to be villainous just act as villains on Earth.
SpoilerTechnically there is a warning. For other non Rabbit classes, it's usually around a day or two, or at least a couple of hours if i remember correctly. It's just that Rabbits have a shitty 45 second pre summoning warning. Chapter 31 even shows how another Rabbit class first got summoned while they were taking a bath and didn't even have time to change into proper clothes. As always, i must declare that my reading comprehension is worse than a 2 year old toddler so correct me if i misunderstood the comment
Spoilerthere is a purpose but its a bit spoilerly-- The superpowers were given by the aliens in order to increase the magic wielding people against a corruption while at the same time while giving magic the system fixes and seals the thing which can lead to the corruption and mutation into chaos energy. Now this threat isnt so serious anymore so the new planets are allowed to do whatever they want as long as they are willing to be summoned in emergencies or as employement, (for which they get paid) so it isnt really a slavery but at the same time there are no takebacks

I will just copy review from novelupdates that can majorly describe how I feel about this novel:If I were to sum it up with one sentence, it isn't as bad as it first seems, but it also doesn't work hard to get good.It's basically a Chinese novel written like a Japanese would (but obviously with Chinese flavor, you know, face slapping and the like). It's basically a beta male + harem + fantasy + transmigration.In general, the protagonist is so dense that it's funny. Yes, just funny. At first you get annoyed with him, but if you endure it for 2-3 volumes, you just laugh at the ret*rd. Well, at some point the narration alluded to some past events that made him subconsciously reject all possibilities that someone may like him, etc., but he's still so very dense he should be capable of using black hole attacks. The explanation doesn't fully cover this, so the protagonist isn't really excused all that much.Other than that, the protagonist is okay at first glance, but annoying in the long run. He's a goody-two-shoes, and it's especially annoying when he interacts with some female characters: they're gonna act like a stuck-up b*tch, and he's going to laugh foolishly and let them step all over him or something. There's literally only one chick that's excused for acting like this because she's mental (literally, schizophrenia and more), but the rest is just annoying together with the even more annoying protagonist

But sadly author only posts once per week and the chapters are only little longer than average chapters of other novels (2,8k words), and from the last chapter I read (currently 10 chapters away from the up to date but still it took 2 months) it doesnt look like it will end like korean novels with 200 ish chapter so the author probably plannig to do 500+ but just to get to 500 chapter with the current pace it will take 6+ years. Tbh I dont belive the author will be writing after that much time.

This is top tier xianxia. Before this, I recommend Coiling Dragon Ring Saga for newbies as even though it's not the best, it's "classic" cultivation story and is a decent enough introduction. But now, I recommend this, the only bad part about this is that it's not yet complete.I wouldn't exactly recommend this to veteran readers tho, but if you do plan to read it, it shouldn't be low in your priority, maybe mid or part of the next 3 books you'll read.
is Coiling Dragon really that good? I started with AWE and when I tried to get into Coiling Dragon a couple months after being into the genre, I just couldn't.
Coiling isn't good, it isn't bad either. I think the reason why it's recommended and respected is because it's one of the first titles to get translated. It's also one of the first that set a trend basically. If you've watched Nausicaa (really old Hayao Miyazaki film) it's the same logic, that film isn't good or bad (well, it's pretty decent) but that's because a lot of films already refined the formula that Nausicaa created and improved on it. TL;DR: Coiling dragon is decent and you gotta give it props for being old but still holding up better than a lot of other xianxia. There's also the fact that it's a decent execution of the xianxia formula that it's a good enough recommendation for those who are just starting to read xianxia web novels.
Excellently written, you can tell it's not a translated novel. What I like most about this novel is the character development and meaningful interactions between the MC and other characters. In many CN translated novels all side characters are just foils to show the MC's excellence, but here, they really do stand out and have relevance. This isn't an OP face-slap type of novel, it's almost basically coming-of-age cultivation novel so far. 4.7/5
Quite good i say! At start it seems no different than any other novels but it is quite nice read. 5/5 from my side no complaint about this novel.
starts out really cool but later on turns meh. his love interest right now is really weird and unfounded. the biggest issue i have is that he really doesnt act like his age suggests and is weirdly more naive after the big event happens. the world also doesnt seem to be that deep. another generic existential crisis in a fight against "demons" where the demons are fewer in numbers but have higher talent. an issue that isnt related to the plot is release rate and overal plot progression. as it is right now it will take a least a few years for the story to finish.
